When Phil McCoy initially opened a local construction equipment company in 1985, he was determined to provide top-quality equipment and exceptional service to his Kansas City area customers. Nearly 30 years later, McCoy still serves as president of RoadBuilders Machinery & Supply Co., Inc. and we continue to offer the finest equipment in the industry, paired with outstanding parts and service availability.

RoadBuilders became an exclusive Komatsu dealer in 1989, and two years later moved into our current headquarters in Kansas City, Kansas. In 1992, we expanded into the industrial machining and engine rebuild business and currently operate separate rental and used equipment facilities to satisfy our customers' needs. With the acquisition of Fehr's Tractor in 2000, RoadBuilders added three new locations - Omaha, Lincoln, and Grand Island, Nebraska. In mid 2008 we expanded into the Springfield, Missouri area by opening Midwest Equipment & Supply, LLC., where we offer the finest used equipment, rental, service, and parts around.
