Chatelain's Nursery
Conifers, evergreens, grafted ornamentals and liners.
Our history goes back to 1949 when Harry and Florence Chatelain bought property near the Sandy River at the foothills of the majestic Mount Hood. The move proved to be a good investment. Together they worked the soil and created a first class nursery. They also raised a family of four on the farm. Harry died in 2009 and Florence still enjoys the rewards and lives on the nursery. Three of their children were involved in the business. Since Jim is now retired, David manages the nursery and Judy handles the administration. The company was incorporated in 1977.
