Alberta Invasive Species

Prevention inspired; Alberta protected.
The Alberta Invasive Species Council (AISC) is a not-for-pro?t association of government, industry, academia, individuals, land managers and non-government organizations. Council members are knowledgeable on invasive species or their management. The Alberta Invasive Plant Council was formed in 2006 to address the lack of coordination and understanding associated with invasive plants within the province of Alberta. In 2013, the name was changed to the Alberta Invasive Species Council and the scope expanded to all taxa.
