ACT was part of Veneman Equipment Services Company (Vesco), the first Toyota Industrial Equipment dealership east of the Mississippi River. The company was founded in 1951. We became Vesco Material Handling Equipment, Inc. under the current ownership in 1973. In 1999, we changed our name to Atlantic Coast Toyotalift for better marketing visibility.

We currently have five locations: three in North Carolina and two in Virginia. Our home office was relocated to a new, state of the art facility in Winston-Salem in 2006. Our second branch opened in 1978 in Martinsville, Virginia. Our third location opened in Wilmington, North Carolina in 1993. Our fourth location, in Roanoke, Virginia opened in 2001 and the fifth in Charlotte, NC in 2011 was opened to serve the construction market.
