Eden Stone Co. Inc. is a family owned and operated company located north of Milwaukee, WI. With a staff of close to 250 employees, we maintain year round mining operations at 8 quarry locations throughout southeastern and central Wisconsin. Our quarry locations in Eden, Oakfield, Chilton, Stevens Point and Valders Wisconsin are able to produce and offer our customers the largest variety of architectural, landscape, veneer, thin veneer and dimensional cut stone in the region. History
For 4 generations, we have produced and delivered natural building and landscape stone to national and international customers. Founded in 1950 by Emil Gesell, the company then known as Gesell and Sons, produced hand dressed veneer and flagstone products. With the help of his sons Bob and Bill the company expanded its production into a variety of landscape and building products. The company soon became known as Eden Stone and was lead by Bill Gesell, lovingly remembered today as “Senior.” It was Bill’s dedication and determination that made Eden Stone what it is today.
Valders Stone & Marble
In 1992 Eden Stone purchased Valders Stone and Marble, an internationally known architectural stone cladding and specialty operation located in Valders Wisconsin. Valders, already famous for the quality and durability of its limestone, brought Eden Stone into the architectural marketplace.
