CACTUS AND SUCCULENT NURSERY  
Landover Nursery is a small, family operated greenhouse just 5 minutes outside of Red Deer. We specialize in cactus and succulents. We currently have over 350 different types of cacti and succulents. Landover Nursery also has a beautiful selection of baskets early in the spring.

Cacti
Almost all cacti are succulents, meaning they have thickened, fleshy parts adapted to store water. Unlike many other succulents, the stem is the only part of most cacti where this vital process takes place. Most species of cacti have lost true leaves, retaining only spines, which are highly modified leaves.
