Industry Certified – Technician Exterior program
The National Association of Landscape Professionals recently announced changes to the Landscape Industry Certified – Technician Exterior program. These changes took effect on May 1, 2019. As of the summer of 2019, the exam will be administered completely online and through remote proctoring. This will mean that you will be able to take the exam at any time, right from your computer/desktop. The goal of these changes is to elevate the program to a fully nationwide audience, to make it more accessible to the entire industry, and to standardize and strengthen the program. More importantly, this will allow us to raise the professional standards for our industry. The content of the new exam will stay consistent, assessing the same core competencies, but it will simply be delivered in a new, consistent and more convenient format.
