At Geosynthetic Systems, we know dirt. Ever since my grandfather sold "black muck" down on the Byward Market and cut sod by hand in the 1940s, our family has been involved in the local landscape and construction industry in one way or another. First it was the muck, then it was road construction, then it was landscape design and construction, until finally, in 1981, Geosynthetic Systems was born and we moved into wholesale distribution of soil conservation and management products.
