Sometimes timing can be everything. And yet…being late is better than not being there at all. We are coming into the “home stretch” so to speak for the courses in the Northern states throughout the country. We have approximately 2 months to go before putting the course down for winter. Our customers in the sunbelt regions have already been gearing up for the “Snow Bird” onslaught. Regardless what area you are in, it’s never too late to get your soil right. Increasing microbial activity in the spring is the optimum timing for plant health and reduced stress. Yet, increasing the microbial activity in late summer and carrying through the fall is also beneficial by reducing the late summer stress due to heat, draught, and high traffic areas and increase plant health.
