Ray Bracken Nursery is a third generation wholesale tree nursery serving landscapers, nurseries, and contractors in the eastern U.S. We are located in the beautiful upstate of South Carolina and are proud to be a certified SC grower, offering our customers the highest quality material and service.
We've been growing and moving trees for 3 generations. The Bracken name has been synonymous with the nursery business since the 1930's. As the photo shows, Albert T. Bracken was moving big trees even then. Today, we have combined those years of experience with modern up-to-date equipment and technology to produce top quality landscape plants. One such quality plant is our patented Magnolia grandiflora - 'Bracken's Brown Beauty' (PP#5520). It is the finest Magnolia ever developed, having dense habit form from the ground to the top, producing a compact pyramidal-oval crown with a fast growth rate. It is ever-blooming, but the heaviest is in the Spring and Fall, easily transplanted and retains dense foliage with brown back.

We will be glad to offer our opinions based on many years of experience concerning optimum growing conditions for the plants we sell. Often, a slight change in the environment will greatly influence the growth of a plant.
We are able to supply plants on a year-round basis because of our system of digging and holding plant material. We realize that many landscape completion dates do not correspond to Spring and Fall digging, so we have designed our operation to meet your needs whenever the plants are required. We strive to produce quality landscape plants and invite our present and future customers to come by and take a look at our operation. We are pleased to have served our customers for many years and look forward to serving them even better in the future as we continue to expand and strive for excellence at our nursery.

Terms
Prices are F.O.B. Ray Bracken Nursery, Pelzer, SC. First time customers must pay by cash or credit card for their order at time of purchase. For those customers who maintain a record of prompt payment or satisfactory references, we will gladly arrange credit terms of net 30 days. All accounts 30 days past due are subject to a service charge of 2% per month (24% annum).
Guarantee
We guarantee our plant material to be properly handled and in good health at the time of sale. We also guarantee that all plant material is true to name. We make every effort possible to assure your shipment arrives in excellent condition. However, we cannot be responsible for failures due to conditions beyond our control. The limits of our liability will in no way exceed the original invoice value.
Claims
Any claims or complaints must be made within 10 days in writing upon receipt of the shipment. Any plant material rejected must be brought to our attention IMMEDIATELY and held for our advice or disposition.
Delivery
Delivery is the responsibility of the purchaser. However, delivery service is available from private carriers. We will gladly make arrangements following the customer's instructions. We can usually provide drop shipments when a full load is not required. All materials travel at the risk of the purchaser. All freight charges are due when the material is delivered, payable to the carrier.
