I am originally from Tuscaloosa, Alabama. In 1999, I had a 120 acre cattle operation in McDonough, GA. I was building a retail shopping center, where I met a man named Don Dill who owned a local plant nursery, who ended up land scaling my retail center. Don quickly became my friend and mentor. He persuaded me to start a B&B farm. He took me all over the state looking at other tree farms. In 2000, I planted 20 acres and that is how Renfroe Valley Farms began. I believed in the business and invested contacts in the industry, and in 2005, I hired Jeremy Worthy as my General Farm Manager. Jeremy has been the Manager of a farm south of ours, and had many years of experience. He quickly took the quality of the product and the appearance of the farm to another level. When Don Dill Sr. sold his plant nursery it allowed RVF to hire Don (Donnie) Dill Jr. as the Sales and Operations Manager in 2010. Donnie had grown up in the industry and had been managing his families nursery, with multiple landscape and development contacts in Atlanta. Our office staff consists of controller Debbie Willis and my AP/AR Manager, Brenda Gregory. We have a seasoned team of veterans, that have many years of experience. We have expanded the farm 400 acres, located 2 miles off I-75, 30 miles from Atlanta International Airport. Sadly, in 2016 I lost my dear friend Don Sr. to complications related to his honorable service in Vietnam. He has been truly missed.
